ADIOS, TUMBLR.
the end.
I didn’t even know the Oscars was this past Sunday, but you know you work in the fashion industry when that’s all you hear about the morning after. Naturally, I did my cheesy fashion must-do yesterday and checked out the red carpet. No doubts at all; I’ve got to hand it over to Gwenyth! Homegirl looks impeccable! All white, maxi cape with padded shoulders, slick hair, and no bling anywhere other than her hands. FIN!

I realize what I am about to say is very LA of me, but I am all about looking street-ready-chic. I hate the term “chic”, but realistically, what real city native lounges around in 6” pumps all day? Living in LA, street style isn’t as bold or shocking as you would find in, like, NY per say, so there’s got to be a balance between the two when you’re a normal working city gal.
I also realize the second photo featuring ‘Moss is pant-less, but I love the worn out skate shoes detail (not to mention, the major ‘San-Gabriel-Valley-Asian-Mom’ visors). Imagine that outfit with a killer pair of skinny leather pants or some old torn up Levi’s from your dad’s old closet worn ‘boyfriend’ style?

Good to know it was “new-employee-of-the-week-to-fuck-with” today, and I brought my biggest A game in my most professional outfit to work (see above). I mean all business.

Featuring Die Antwoord - Fatty Boom Boom from their new album “Ten$ion.”
Two of my favorites packed into one. No, this can’t get any better. Can it?

Rick Owens & Michele Lamy | A Little Bit Eternal
Yep, I’ve officially reached another level in his fan list— from “like” to “obsessed”. This makes my bones quiver (in a good way). Not to mention, the way he speaks of his wife, Michele Lamy, is just about one of the most heartwarming things to hear. He is a man of solid gold.

I’ve already seen this a million times by now, and it’s great every single damn time. I am finally re-sharing this on tumblr. They da best!
Thanks for sharing this, Nensh
This looks like a whole lot of fun. (if I skated)
Thanks, Yosep.
Edit— I just checked out the music behind this video, “Death Grips”. Good lord. Why the hell have I not heard of these guys sooner?! The album’s been on repeat since last night. Nothing harder than dudes screaming into mics with super progressive beats and rhymes.
A junk collective of my childhood muses, daily pleasures, and mindless thoughts about life, culture, art, and my affinity for fashion.
